Hadeeth

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever has wronged his brother with regard to his honour or anything else, let him seek his forgiveness today, before there will be no dinar and no dirham [i.e., the Day of Resurrection], when if he has any good deeds (hasanaat), some of his good deeds will be taken and given to the one who was wronged, commensurate with the wrong that he did, and if he does not have any good deeds, some of the bad deeds (sayi’aat) of the one who was wronged will be taken and thrown onto him.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (2269).

Hope

Assalamoalaikum,
I think it was Wednesday, I felt very sad for completely unknown reasons. I asked two of my friends, what the matter could be. Alhamdolillah my life is as perfect as it can be, yet everyday my heart fills with sadness instead of being happy when someone comes or I see my husband or children…

I didn’t realize but I hadn’t sat down properly to recite any Quran which had resulted in an empty soul. Apart from that there were my other personal fears about living in a Non-Muslim Country as my kids grow older, Alhamdolillah. As I was in a bad state of mind thinking a thousand sad things at once, I opened the Quran, I think at Fajr. The verses that I came upon was , like with many other people, an answer to my problems. And then there was the Verse 87 of Al Yusuf.

It says that the Prophet Ayyub Alaihissalam said to his sons that only a disbeliever would despair of Allah’s Mercy. We, as Muslims should never, EVER despair of Allah’s Mercy.

If we think that we are unfortunate or our condition will not change, or we are upset or distressed, that is disbelief, because Allah Loves all the believers and, Anything is possible for Allah, nothing is impossible for Allah. Allah will not make us unhappy or deprive us of His Mercy if we believe in Him.

We all know that “Museebat”, (Calamities, Bad things) happen to us either because of our sins or as a Test. Even in those two cases, it is a mercy because Allah removes our sins even if we are troubled for the slightest things, like looking for the lost keys.

In the Quran, again and again, Allah tells the Prophet Mohammad (Sallaho Alaihi Wassalam) not to be sad. “La Tahzan”. We should feel fulfilled and happy and better than those who do not fear Allah, who do not obey Allah. If we still are, we should try and connect more to Allah, ask Him more and believe strongly that Allah’s Mercy will come. InshaAllah.

I have seen times when I have asked for something very badly yet not had it, but the Ibadaa, like praying etc or making dua results in a tranquility unmatched even in case my wish is not fulfilled with what I want, but instead Allah gives me what is good for me.
I would like to share the Ayat which triggered my thoughts and made me at peace. . .

Lesson 9 For Children : Salah (Part 08 – Dua)

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Bissmillah-i-Rahman-i-Raheem

(In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful)

Assalamoalaikum,
After Durood, we recite a Dua, which can be any Dua from the Quran or Hadeeth (sayings of the Prophet Peace and Blessings be Upon Him). I will write two Duas here, you can recite whichever one is easy for you.

Rabbana la tuzigh quloobana baAAda ith hadaytana wahab lana min ladunka rahmatan innaka anta alwahhabu

“Our Lord!” (they say), “Let not our hearts deviate now after Thou hast guided us, but grant us mercy from Thine own Presence; for Thou art the Grantor of bounties without measure.

(Aal-Imran, Chapter3. Verse 8 )

And the most common Dua is..

Allahumma rabbana atina fee alddunya hasanatan wafee al-akhirati hasanatan waqina AAathaba alnnari

from

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

And there are men who say: “Our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and defend us from the torment of the Fire!”

( Al-Baqarah, Chapter 2, Verse 201)

Heed

2. Is it a matter of wonderment to men that We have sent Our inspiration to a man from among themselves?- that he should warn mankind (of their danger), and give the good news to the Believers that they have before their Lord the lofty rank of truth. (But) say the Unbelievers: “This is indeed an evident sorcerer!”

3. Verily your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority), regulating and governing all things. No intercessor (can plead with Him) except after His leave (hath been obtained). This is Allah your Lord; Him therefore serve ye: will ye not receive admonition?

4. To Him will be your return- of all of you. The promise of Allah is true and sure. It is He Who beginneth the process of creation, and repeateth it, that He may reward with justice those who believe and work righteousness; but those who reject Him will have draughts of boiling fluids, and a penalty grievous, because they did reject Him.

5. It is He Who made the sun to be a shining glory and the moon to be a light (of beauty), and measured out stages for her; that ye might know the number of years and the count (of time). Nowise did Allah create this but in truth and righteousness. (Thus) doth He explain His Signs in detail, for those who understand.

6. Verily, in the alternation of the night and the day, and in all that Allah hath created, in the heavens and the earth, are signs for those who fear Him.

Al Yunus, Chapter 10, Verses 2-6.

Assalamoalaikum

I’m back after a long long time. My laptop suffered badly and the worst thing was about a thousand photos in it which are lost, I haven’t replaced it yet but I am back with my old “new” desktop, Alhamdolillah.

So I hope that you are all well, Eid was great, everyone had fun and things are going well. I missed my blog. Raheel Bhai thank you for conveying my message, jazakAllah.

I am still not used to the keyboard which is much stiffer, but inshaAllah I will try and post some useful stuff that I had been meaning to InshaAllah.

Broken PC and languorous Attitude

Aslam o Alaikum,
You must have noticed that recently the activities at Alhamdolillah Web log have slowed down (quite evident from number of posts made last month) and the reason is absence of blog author. With the course of time, PC lost its health. One fine morning, it wasn’t in a condition to work. It did power up but Windows were simply too heavy to be loaded. Hard Drive stopped doing it’s job either. This laptop along with others isn’t in a condition to be repaired.

So, Blog Author wanted me to communicate that she will be back and continue the lessons for children, InshaAllah. She will also restart posting useful stuff. But there is a break for some time, may be a month InshaAllah. While, I am more languorous than busy. I will try to ensure that this web log is alive.

Subjected are the reasons for state of lull at this blog.
