Sleep

Assalamoalaikum,

Its been long time since I wrote something, a lot has changed during those weeks or months in my surroundings, in my soul, in me…

I just woke up from a short nap and felt like a lot of the rust that had gathered on my soul has cleared it away. I feel like deep and peaceful sleep purifies a persons soul, alhamdolillah what a blessing!

When I am sad or tired or ill it refreshes me and my soul and I feel like I have been reborn. That is whywe are supposed to say the dua:

Dua' for waking up from sleep

Alhamdulillahi lazee ahyaanaa b’ada amaatanaa wa ilaihil nushoor

Translation: Thanks be to Allah who awoke us after our death and He is the only one that can resurrect us.
