Lesson 5 For Children : Salah (Part 04 – Ruku)

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Bissmillahi Rahmani Raheem

(In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.)

Ruku (Bowing)

After reciting the Surahs you say Allah u Akbar and do Ruku’. Placing your hands on the knees you bow before your Master and utter repeatedly (either three times or five times or seven)

سبحان ربی العظیم

Subhana Rabbi-al-‘Azim

” Blessed is my Lord the Magnificent “.

Then you stand straight while saying :

سمع الله لمن حمدہ

Sami’-Allahu li-man hamidah

” Allah listened to him who praised Him”.

After standing straight, you say:

ربنا لک الحمد

Rabbana lakal-hamd

“Our Lord praise be to Thee”.

  1. May Allah bless you for all untiring efforts; May all your children be excellent Muslims, respectful, polite, strong and a huge source of happiness & harmony for you.

I have observed that most number of search engine terms that lead to this blog are “Salah for Kids”, “Teaching Islam to Kids” and related terminologies. May Allah reward you, sis!
