In Lesson 5 we learnt about the bowing, now we will learn the next step which is sujood.
Prostration ( Sujood) :
After we say the adhkaar ( praises) in bowing we get up and then saying “Allah-o-Akbar” go down on our knees and put our faces on the floor reciting this:
سبحان ربی الا علی
“Blessed is my Lord Who is most High and Sublime”.
You can recite this three or five or seven times or any odd number more than that, which you can say in your whole prayer. Make sure you recite the same number of adhkaar in every ruku and every sujood in your whole prayer in every rakat.
After reciting this “Tasbih”, we raise forehead saying “Allah-o-Akbar”, and then hands. Then we go into the Jalsah, the sitting posture.
After sitting in Jalsah for a while, we, saying “Allah-o-Akbar” go down to second Sajda in a similar way like first sajda.
