Its been long time since I wrote something, a lot has changed during those weeks or months in my surroundings, in my soul, in me…

I just woke up from a short nap and felt like a lot of the rust that had gathered on my soul has cleared it away. I feel like deep and peaceful sleep purifies a persons soul, alhamdolillah what a blessing!

When I am sad or tired or ill it refreshes me and my soul and I feel like I have been reborn. That is whywe are supposed to say the dua:

Dua' for waking up from sleep

Alhamdulillahi lazee ahyaanaa b’ada amaatanaa wa ilaihil nushoor

Translation: Thanks be to Allah who awoke us after our death and He is the only one that can resurrect us.

Assalamoalaikum , I was trying to take a photo just now and my mind was blown away by the fact that I couldn’t do justice to it, ko one can…

Allah’s creations are very beautiful and perfect, but the biggest blessing is our eyes… Without which we wouldn’t see anything…

Bissmillahi Rahmani Raheem…

I sometimes think that, if things were easy and they went like we wished, then this world would be like paradise and then we would have no wish, hope to leave it.

I so wish that the path on which I want to walk on  to be easier to follow day after day, but it gets harder every day. There is no enemy stopping me, but myself, coming in my own way.

Yesterday I told my oldest son to go to tidy up his bedroom, I said it to him 3 or 4 times while he kept laughing and joking with his little 5.5 years old sister and then I asked him, ” Zakariyya, what stops you from doing things when I told you more than once and you can hear me and is not hard for you to do?” suddenly I thought of Surah Al -Isra, where Allah gives us clear commands on what to do and what not, including obeying parents, not lying or backbiting and keeping away from fornication and any other type of fahisha.. That is not the first time Allah has forbidden us from these things, Allah has forbidden us or ordered for normal daily things again and again in the Quran that we just plainly ignore. The fury that rose in me looking at my son that way died down immediately after remembering this. It will also be the reason for our punishment in hell…

I have been finding it difficult to curb a few things recently, please make Dua for me that after Allah has guided me, that I do not fall into sin again and if I do, I take myself out of it, Allah is the All Forgiver, Raheem and Kareem. All we need to do is stop what we are doing and be humble and ask for His forgiveness.

May Allah protect us all from His wrath, Ameen.

to be continued…

Ha. Mim. (1)

A revelation from the Beneficent, the Merciful,(2)

A Scripture whereof the verses are expounded, a Lecture in Arabic for people who have knowledge, (3)

Good tidings and a warning. But most of them turn away so that they hear not. (4)

And they say: Our hearts are protected from that unto which thou (O Muhammad) callest us, and in our ears there is a deafness, and between us and thee there is a veil. Act, then. Lo! we also shall be acting. (5)

Say (unto them O Muhammad): I am only a mortal like you. It is inspired in me that your God is One God, therefore take the straight path unto Him and seek forgiveness of Him. And woe unto the idolaters, (6)

Who give not the poor-due, and who are disbelievers in the Hereafter. (7)

Lo! as for those who believe and do good works, for them is a reward enduring. (8)

Say (O Muhammad, unto the idolaters): Disbelieve ye verily in Him Who created the earth in two Days, and ascribe ye unto Him rivals? He (and none else) is the Lord of the Worlds. (9)

He placed therein firm hills rising above it, and blessed it and measured therein its sustenance in four Days, alike for (all) who ask; (10)

Then turned He to the heaven when it was smoke, and said unto it and unto the earth: Come both of you, willingly or loth. They said: We come, obedient. (11)

Then He ordained them seven heavens in two Days and inspired in each heaven its mandate; and We decked the nether heaven with lamps, and rendered it inviolable. That is the measuring of the Mighty, the Knower. (12)

But if they turn away, then say: I warn you of a thunderbolt like the thunderbolt (which fell of old upon the tribes) of A’ad and Thamud; (13)

When their messengers came unto them from before them and behind them, saying: Worship none but Allah! they said: If our Lord had willed, He surely would have sent down angels (unto us), so lo! we are disbelievers in that wherewith ye have been sent. (14)

As for A’ad, they were arrogant in the land without right, and they said: Who is mightier than us in power? Could they not see that Allah Who created them, He was mightier than them in power? And they denied Our revelations. (15)

Therefore We let loose on them a raging wind in evil days, that We might make them taste the torment of disgrace in the life of the world. And verily the doom of the Hereafter will be more shameful, and they will not be helped. (16)
